how are you?
i'm writing this to you

i don't know what to do

i doom scroll
the war on dancing apps
been thinking about that
then i saw a singing cat (so cute!) 🙀

surfing our sixth wave
we're all taking sick days
but not in the same way
'cause we don't agree

i'm home during most days
sitting and waiting
my energy fades
as i continue to breathe

and it seems that we love and hate ourselves at the same time
the rich ones, they don't know the value of one dime
distracted with thoughts that are rotting our minds
while the earth's heating up, we ignore all the signs

i tell you
i just don't know what to do
should i puke or eat more food?
there's so many things to do

i haven't
seen my friends in a long time
but they haven't left my mind
they've been leaving me behind

here in my safe space
i think no place is safe
they say the news is fake
even though that is wrong

and i've gotten death threats
from trolls and myself
when what i needed was heaven
but i couldn't say yes

and it seems that we love and hate ourselves at the same time
we say that we're special but then we commit crimes
how do i forget that i'm part of it all?
i'll roll up a jay, put the whole world on hold
